Project Save helps individuals and families save money, develops the habit of saving for important goals in their lives and teaches participants to be money smart. For every dollar saved, Project SAVE will match 100 percent of the savings - up to $2,000 in a one to two year period. The program provides economic literacy seminars, case management and budget counseling to residents of Washington and Greene counties.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance works under the auspices of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The program provides Washington and Greene county residents with free, basic, online tax filing assistance to low-income, working taxpayers who are eligible to claim the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), a refundable tax break for people who work but do not earn high income.
