WORK WEEK
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES1) Regular and reliable attendance is essential. 2) Responsible for certification of WIC participants including: a) Determine income and residency eligibility. b) Determination of Nutritional Risk. Identify high risk clients and develop care plans. c) Nutrition counseling and documentation. d) Perform, Analyze, interpret, and explain results of anthropometric measurements and hemoglobin tests. 3) Distribution of checks to eligible clients and writing manual checks. 4) Acts as a liaison and make appropriate referrals between medical services, social services, and WIC participants. 5) Provides training of local agency WIC staff. 6) Responsible for operations of WIC Clinic. Reviews monthly schedules and reports. 7) Assists in development and implementation of Nutrition Education and Breast-feeding Plan. 8) Participates in continuing education programs. 9) Attends staff meetings. 10) Uses a variety of State WIC data system applications appropriately and accurately. 11) Maintains progress notes and individual clinic files. 12) Conducts self in a courteous, confidential, and professional manner. |
