About Kindergarten Club

Designed to help transition children into the school environment, the club is held in Kindergarten classrooms during the summer months, at elementary schools throughout Greene County so children have an opportunity to become familiar with the room and the school facility.

• School personnel are invited to attend sessions to meet the families.
• Children and adults have reported a decrease in anxiety regarding the transition to school. Kindergarten teachers have reported that they observe better adjustment to school for children who participate

Program Eligibility

• Child must be entering Kindergarten in the fall.
• Must be a resident of Greene County.
• Parent or caregiver must remain with the child.
