About Male Involvement

  • Promotes a New Pro-Fatherhood Agenda: Our focus is that Dads, or the male influence, play indispensable roles that cannot be measured in dollars and cents; they are nurturers, mentors, disciplinarians, moral instructors and skills coaches, among the many other roles that are all part of fatherhood.
  • Provide a community-level approach to working with low-income fathers and families to provide them with training opportunities, career-advancing education, parenting education, socialization opportunities and mentoring.
  • Males attend our monthly Male Involvement meetings and participate in the Coach Dads Curriculum which reinforces that every child needs a dad they can count on!
  • Strengthens family bonds by offering special events and outings for families
  • Encourages fathers to participate in events and volunteer in the classrooms not only for their child but also for all children
