About Ombudsman- The term Ombudsman stands for “citizen representative”
- An Ombudsman addresses complaints and acts as an advocate for residents who have issues concerning care being received in long-term care settings.
- The Ombudsman program provides ombudsman services for Greene County residents receiving long term care in a nursing home, personal care home, assisted living, domiciliary care home or a private residence.
- Any individual, family member or other community member having a problem may make a confidential and/or anonymous report to CAS
