About Project SaveHelps individuals and families save money and develop the habit of saving for important goals in their lives and teaches participants to be money smart - For every dollar saved, Project SAVE will match 100 percent of the savings - up to $2,000 in a one to two year period
- Provides economic literacy seminars, case management and budget counseling.
- Enrollees must save for one of the following goals:
- Credit Repair, in conjunction with home or vehicle purchase
- First Time Home Purchase
- Home Repair
- Vehicle Purchase
- Education
- Small Business
- Computer Purchase
Program Eligibility- Be a resident of Washington or Greene County and at least 16 years old
- Be at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines
- Be able to save at least $10 per week
- Be willing to attend 4 Financial Literacy Classes
